AUSTIN, Texas -- Three University of Central Missouri Jennies basketball student-athletes were named to the 2024-25 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team, it was announced Tuesday, March 25, by the organization.
Reese Schaaf,
Lauren Frost and
Rylee Vierthaler all received Academic All-District accolades for their performances in the classroom and on the court during the 2024-25 season.
Schaaf is a junior guard/forward with a 3.79 GPA as a marketing major, Frost is a redshirt senior guard with a 3.77 GPA as a finance major and Vierthaler is a sophomore guard with a 3.95 GPA as a management major.
Schaaf, the 2024-25 MIAA Co-Newcomer of the Year and a WBCA Coaches' Division II Honorable Mention All-American, was selected to advance to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-America national ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced April 16, 2025.
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2024-25 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA governance structure.
