MARYVILLE, Mo. – University of Central Missouri track & field posted four NCAA-II provisional marks to highlight action for the Mules & Jennies at the Northwest Missouri State Bearcat Invitational Saturday, Feb. 8, inside Hughes Fieldhouse.
Sprints/Hurdles
- Parker Wormek ran a provisional time of 7.84 to win the men's 60m hurdles. His time is a meet record and ranks third-fastest in Division II this season.
- Ian Liburd posted a provisional and personal-best time of 8.66, placing eighth in the men's 60m dash.
- Brooklynn Holtman and Emily Meeks posted top 10 finishes in the women's 400m dash in the invitational division. Holtman ran 57.59 to finish sixth while Meeks was seventh at 57.69.
- Saad Guerrour ran a personal-best time of 48.98 to place ninth in the men's 400m dash.
- Kylee Terry ran 58.79, placing ninth in the women's 400m dash open division.
- Evan Finger ran a personal-best 1:15.52 to place in the top 10 of the men's 600-yard run, placing seventh.
- Ella Jett posted a time of 1:36.56 to finish in the top 10 of the women's 600-yard run, finishing ninth.
Jumps
- Reagan Ulrich won the men's pole vault, clearing a provisional mark of 5.21m (17-01.00). His mark ranks sixth-best in Division II this season.
- The Jennies had four top five performances in the women's pole vault. Sydnie Bernard won the event after clearing a personal-best 3.51m (11-06.25), which ranks tied for eighth-best in indoor school history, while Alaina Loman, Makenna Payne and Kaira Mannio all cleared a personal-best mark of 3.36m (11-00.25), tying for third.
- Myah Morris was runner-up in the women's triple jump, posting a mark of 11.58m (38-0).
- Wyatt Irwin and Theres Reindl both posted top 10 showings in the high jump. Irwin was seventh in the men's high jump after clearing 1.99m (6-06.25) while Reindl was seventh in the women's high jump, clearing 1.53m (5-00.25).
- The Jennies tallied two top 10 finishers in the women's long jump. Marissa Austene was fourth with a mark of 5.67m (18-07.25) while Mellanie Nellmer was seventh with a mark of 5.49m (18-00.25).
- Evan Gosnell finish in the top 10 of the men's long jump, placing seventh with a personal-best mark of 6.68m (21-11.00).
Throws
- Rachael Molloy was second in the women's weight throw, tallying a provisional mark of 18.86m (61-10.50). Her mark is 10th in Division II this season.
- Ryan Jones and Madison Mears both posted top 10 showings in the shot put. Jones was ninth in the men's shot put, compiling a personal-best tying mark of 15.78m (51-09.25), while Mears was ninth in the women's shot put with a mark of 13.23m (43-05.00).
- Demarcus Kelow placed eighth in the men's weight throw for a top-10 finish, posting a mark of 16.52m (54-02.50).
Distance
- Evan Finger placed in the top 10 of the men's mile, finishing seventh with a time of 4:16.18.
- Luke Engel was 10th in the men's 3,000m run, clocking a personal-best time of 8:42.94.
UCM track & field is scheduled to return to action Feb. 14-15 at the Pittsburg State Gorilla Classic in Pittsburg, Kan.
