UCM Track & Field Tabbed Fifth in 2025-26 MIAA Indoor Preseason Polls

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – University of Central Missouri Track & Field was voted fifth in both the MIAA men's and women's preseason coaches polls for the 2025-26 indoor track and field seasons, it was announced Thursday, Dec. 4.
 
Pittsburg State was the unanimous favorite among MIAA head coaches in both the men's and women's preseason polls.
 
Northwest Missouri, Washburn, Missouri Southern, and the Mules and Jennies were each selected in the MIAA coaches' top five in both the men's and women's preseason polls.
 
The complete 2025-26 MIAA men's and women's indoor track and field preseason rankings are listed below. 

UCM Track & Field begins its 2025-26 indoor season this Saturday, Dec. 6, at the Wasburn Alumni Invitational in Topeka, Kan.
 
Pittsburg State will host its 2026 MIAA Indoor Track and Field Championships February 27 through March 1 inside the Gorillas' Robert W. Plaster Center in Pittsburg, Kansas. The 2026 NCAA Division II Indoor Track and Field National Championships are scheduled for March 13-14 at the Virginia Beach Sports Center in Virginia.
