CRETE, Neb. – Jesus Flores,
Owen Koski, and
Gavin Lohse each competed in the remaining three events in the men's heptathlon to wrap up the Happy Holidays Multi-Event Meet for Mules Track & Field on Monday, Dec. 8, on the Doane University campus.
Day Two Highlights
- Flores and Koski finished in the top five, while Lohse placed in the top 10. Flores was third with a personal-best tally of 4,866 points, Koski was fifth with a personal-best 4,245 points, and Lohse was seventh with a personal-best 4,050 points.
- After placing second in the high jump and third in the 60m dash, long jump, and shot put, Flores finished tied for second in the pole vault (personal-best 3.85m [12-07.50]), third in the 1,000m run (3:05.95), and fifth in the 60m hurdles (8.86) Monday for his final score of 4,866.
UCM Track & Field is now idle until it hosts the Tucker Woolsey Invitational on Friday, Jan. 16, inside the Jerry M. Hughes Athletics Center in Warrensburg.
