MIDLOTHIAN, Va. – The University of Central Missouri Jennies Bowling team continued its strong showing at the Virginia Union University Invitational, going a perfect 4-0 on the second day of competition Saturday, Nov. 1, at Bowl America.
With Saturday's performance, the Jennies completed pool play undefeated at 9-0 overall and will enter Sunday's best 4-of-7 Baker Bracket rounds as the No. 1 overall seed.
UCM picked up wins over Virginia Union (896-487), Howard University (802-749), Fayetteville State (804-763), and Virginia State (910-586), while also recording an 810 unopposed score during the round.
Julia Speich once again led Central Missouri, finishing second overall with a 179.4 average, earning a spot on the All-Tournament Team for the second consecutive weekend.
Camryn Cramer followed closely behind with a 177.5 average, ranking second among Jennies bowlers after four games.
The Jennies will close out competition at the VUU Invitational on Sunday, Nov. 2, with Baker Bracket play beginning in the morning.
