BALDWIN CITY, Kan. – The Central Missouri track & field team split between meets in Des Moines, Iowa, and Baldwin City, Kan., Saturday, April 29, concluding the third and final day of action at the Drake Relays in Des Moines while sending several throwers and a hurdler to the ZK Invitational at Baker University in Baldwin City, Kan.
Throws (ZK Invite)
- Addison Snowball finished runner-up in both the men's discus and men's hammer. In the discus, he posted a provisional mark of 53.27m (174-09) while compiling a personal-best mark of 55.71m (182-09) in the hammer.
- Madison Mears finished third in both the women's discus and women's shot put. She posted a mark of 38.31m (125-08) in the discus and a throw of 11.43m (37-06.00) in the shot put.
- Laken Manns finished third in women's javelin, and fourth in both the women's shot put and women's discus. In the javelin, she tallied a personal-best mark of 35.49m (116-05.00) while posting a personal-best mark of 11.22m (36-09.75) in the shot put and a throw of 37.19m (122-00) in the discus.
- Cate Cooper recorded a personal-best mark of 31.92m (104-09.00), finishing fifth in the women's javelin.
- Marley Sands finished fifth in the women's discus, posting a personal-best mark of 36.79m (120-08.00).
Sprints/Hurdles (ZK Invite)
- Conner McKee won the men's 400m hurdles with a time of 54.49.
Relays (Drake Relays)
The Mules and Jennies are scheduled to return to action at the MIAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships May 5-7 in Jefferson City, Mo.
