EMPORIA, Kan. – Antonio Lay won the 100m dash to highlight to final day of action for UCM track & field at the Emporia State Relays Saturday, March 25, at Francis G. Welch Stadium.
Sprints
- Lay finished first in the 100m dash after clocking a provisional time of 10.30. His time is second-fastest in NCAA Division II this season.
Relays
- The Mules' 4x100m relay team of Cameron Hesker, Lay, Ariel Kerr and Kye Mason placed fourth after compiling a provisional time of 40.67. That time ranks fifth-fastest in program history.
Jumps
- Myah Morris won the women's triple jump with a mark of 11.41m (37-05.25). Morris also posted a top-10 performance in the long jump, placing 10th with a personal-best mark of 5.03m (16-06.00).
- Therese Reindl finished sixth in the women's high jump invitational division with a mark 1.60m (5-03.00).
- Austin Staib placed seventh in the men's long jump with a mark of 6.76m (22-02.25).
Central Missouri is scheduled to return to action March 29 though April 1 at the Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays, March 30 through April 1 at the Texas State Bobcat Invitational and March 31 at the Wash U Distance Carnival.
