HOUSTON, Texas – No. 13-ranked Central Missouri Mules baseball fell to top-ranked and defending NCAA Division II National Champion North Greenville, 12-1 in seven innings, in its opening game of the 2023 season and Houston Winter Invitational Friday, Feb. 3, at Minute Maid Park.
The Mules (0-1) are scheduled to face Montevallo (1-0) in game two of the Houston Winter Invitational at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 4.
John Prudhom delivered Central Missouri's lone run of the game on a solo homer to right field, while
Carter Young tallied a double, pacing UCM at the plate.
Marek Chlup went 3-for-4 with an RBI and David Lewis was 1-for-4 with a home run and four runs driven in, pacing the Crusaders (1-0).
