TOPEKA, Kan. – Seventh-ranked Central Missouri Jennies basketball outscored Washburn, 23-10, in the fourth quarter to take control of the game and post a 67-53 victory over the Ichabods Thursday night, Jan. 5, inside Lee Arena.
The Jennies (12-0, 8-0 MIAA), who have now won 12 straight games, are scheduled to travel to Emporia, Kan., to face the Emporia State Lady Hornets (9-4, 4-3 MIAA) Saturday, Jan. 7, at 1:30 p.m. inside William L. White Auditorium.

Brooke Littrell led all scorers in the win, tallying 27 points on 9-of-15 shooting and a perfect 7-of-7 showing at the free-throw line while
Graycen Holden added 12 points and went 6-for-6 at the foul line,
Ashley Tull netted 10 points and tied her career-best with five blocks, and
Kade Hackerott pulled down a game-high 11 rebounds, rounding out the UCM leaders for the contest.
The Jennies shot just 37 percent from the field for the game, going 26-of-63, but were 7-of-11 in the fourth quarter for 64 percent. UCM went 5-of-12 from three-point range (42 percent) and were an impressive 16-of-19 at the free-throw line for 84 percent.
Central Missouri controlled the glass, outrebounding Washburn (6-6, 2-4 MIAA), 44-34, and won the turnover battle, 16-12.
Aubree Dewey compiled 15 points, pacing the Ichabods.
