WARRENSBURG, Mo. -- The No. 10-ranked Central Oklahoma Bronchos tallied a combined 16 hits, sweeping an MIAA doubleheader against Central Missouri Jennies softball Sunday, April 10, at Jennies Field at the South Recreation Complex, winning game one, 6-0, before rolling to a 12-2, five-inning victory in game two.
The Jennies (13-28, 6-12 MIAA) will look to get back on the winning track when they travel to Fort Hays State for an MIAA doubleheader Friday, April. 15, starting at 2 p.m. at Tigers Stadium.
Game 1: No. 10 Central Oklahoma 6, Central Missouri 0
In UCM's 6-0 setback in game one,

Ashlyn Cook each tallied a hit, as the Jennies were limited to four singles in the contest.
Kyleigh Lay (5-10) suffered the loss for Central Missouri, allowing five earned runs on five hits with six strikeouts and four walks in five innings.
Shayleigh Odom went 1-for-3 with a homer and two RBIs, pacing Central Oklahoma in the first game.
Kylee Lunch (16-1) earned the victory in the circle for UCO in the opening, tossing a complete-game and giving up no earned runs on four hits with three strikeouts and zero walks.
Game 2: No. 10 Central Oklahoma 12, Central Missouri 2 (5 inn.)
The Bronchos used a seven-run third inning and five-run fifth inning to roll to a 12-2, five-inning win in the nightcap.
Jessica Sader went 2-for-3 with a double and
Makenzie McAtee hit her third home run of the season, leading the Jennies in game two.
Sadie Parks (3-7) was the losing pitcher for UCM in game two, surrendering seven earned runs on six hits with one strikeout and three walks in 2 2/3 innings.
Lexy Dobson was 2-for-3 with a homer, two runs scored and four RBIs, leading Central Oklahoma (34-6, 13-1 MIAA) at the plate.
Broncho reliever Bailey McKittrick (2-0) compiled the win after throwing 2 2/3 shutout innings and giving up just one hit.
