  • Central Missouri Jennies softball is set to host eight games as part of the Fairfield Inn and Suites Classic March 19-20 at Jennies Field at the South Recreation Complex in Warrensburg. The Jennies are scheduled to play St. Cloud State and No. 10-ranked Augustana Saturday, March 19, at noon and 4 p.m. before facing the same two teams at the same times Sunday, March 20. Northeastern State is the other team in the UCM "pod" of the Fairfield Inn and Suites Classic. The RiverHawks will face No. 10 Augustana and St. Cloud State at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Saturday prior to facing the Huskies and No. 10 Vikings again Sunday at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
  • The Jennies are coming off a 2-2 showing March 13-14 in Joplin, Mo., and Pittsburg, Kan. UCM split a doubleheader at Missouri Southern March 13, dropping game one, 4-2, before winning game two, 6-3. Central Missouri posted its second split in two days at Pittsburg State March 14, taking game one, 6-3, and losing the second contest, 10-2 in six innings.

Series History
  • St. Cloud State: The Jennies and the Huskies will meet for the 14th and 15th times in the all-time series Saturday and Sunday in Warrensburg. UCM leads the series, 10-3. Last season, the Jennies went 2-0 against St. Cloud State, winning, 5-4 and 7-6 in eight innings at the South Recreation Complex. 
  • Augustana: UCM and Augie will meet for the 22nd and 23rd times in the all-time series this weekend. The Vikings lead the series, 13-8. Central Missouri and Augustana have not met since 2017, when Augie defeated UCM, 1-0.

  • Susan Anderson is in her 16th season as the head coach for the Jennies softball program. She has a record of 461-333 (.561) in her 16 seasons in Warrensburg and a career record of 642-506 (.540) in 24 seasons.
