KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Central Missouri Mules football redshirt sophomore quarterback Cedric Case was voted the MIAA Offensive Athlete of the Week for his performance on the football field during the week of Oct. 24-30, the conference office announced Monday, Oct. 31.

Case, who hails from Lincoln, Neb., earned his first-career Athlete of the Week honor after setting a new UCM single-game record for highest NCAA passing efficiency (since 1988) in the Mules' 61-14 victory over Lincoln Saturday, Oct. 29, in Warrensburg.

Case went a perfect 16-for-16 with zero interceptions for 246 passing yards and threw for six touchdowns in the win, breaking former Central Missouri standout Toby Korrodi's NCAA passing efficiency rating set back in 2006 against Southwest Baptist.

UCM is scheduled to host Missouri Western for Senior Day and the final home game of the season Saturday, Nov. 5, at 1 p.m. at Walton Stadium/Kennedy Field.
