GREENWOOD, Ind. – University of Central Missouri Mules Football's
Michael Harris has been voted a 2025 First Team College Sports Communicators Academic All-American®, the organization announced on Tuesday, Jan. 27.
Harris, a redshirt senior defensive lineman out of Overland Park, Kan., is the 18th Academic All-American® in program history and the fifth under head coach
Josh Lamberson.
Harris posted a 3.64 GPA and graduated in December 2025 with his bachelor's degree in management from UCM.
On the field, Harris was a Third Team All-MIAA honoree after posting 45 tackles, including 15 solo and 30 assisted tackles, to go along with a team-best eight tackles-for-loss for 33 yards and a team-high five sacks for 28 yards in 11 games for the Central Missouri defense last season.
The Division II Academic All-America® program is financially supported by the NCAA Division II national governance structure to assist the College Sports Communicators with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2025-26 Division II Academic All-America® program.
