KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The MIAA Conference released their 2022-23 MIAA Men's Basketball Preseason Media and Coaches Polls on Tuesday, Oct. 11, in conjunction with the MIAA Basketball Media Day festivities held inside the College Basketball Experience in downtown Kansas City.
In each poll, the Mules basketball team has been selected in ninth place earning 73 points (Coaches' Poll) and 112 points (Media Poll) respectively.
Last season, the Mules averaged 69.1 points per game, while shooting 44.2% from the field including 30.6% from beyond the arch. Central Missouri will look to returners
Gaven Pinkley (forward),
Garrett Luinstra (guard),
Trey Sides (guard), and
Mark Mayle (forward) this upcoming season.
UCM begins their season on Friday, Nov. 11, against the Minot State Beavers in the opening day of the Weekend Classic. Tip-off is set for 6:00 p.m. inside the Multipurpose Building in Warrensburg, Mo.
