PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. (May 20, 2021) - Central Missouri Mules Golf finished their season in the quarterfinal round of NCAA Medal Match Play. The Mules, who were the No. 7 seed following stroke play, fell 3-2 to No. 2 Arkansas Tech.

Ian Barnes took a one-stroke lead after the first hole, but immediately lost it on hole two. Barnes then got down four strokes after hole four and never got any closer. He got two strokes back on holes 12 and 13, but it was too little, too late and fell by six with an 18-hole score of 83.

The closest individual finish of the day was
Sam Parrott's. Parrott got behind two strokes on the first two holes, but worked his way back into a tie after hole four. Parrott took the lead on hole five and led the rest of the way. He got up by as many as six after 11 and held on for a one-stroke win. His 18-hole total was 78.
