WARRENSBURG, Mo. (April 17, 2021) - Not that bad weather would have spoiled the first Mules Football action in more than 500 days, but the weather gods knew better than to mess with Mules Football. A threat of rain proved to be nothing more than some dark clouds that gave way to sunshine and excellent weather for the feel of Mules Football.

The Mules and Augustana Vikings held a controlled practice going up against each other in various drills and situations. 

The scrimmage served it's many purposes of getting coaches a chance to evaluate their roster, players a chance for outside competition and fans a chance to watch their team on the field.

The day saw offense-defense situations such as 7-on-7's and 1-on-1's, lineman drills, kicking competitions and full team situations. 

This is the first of two scrimmages for the Mules. They'll play again at home next Saturday, April 24 against Northern State at 12 p.m.
