BOLIVAR, Mo. (Oct. 6, 2017) - Central Missouri Jennies Volleyball put on a dominating display against the Bearcats on the road Friday evening. The Jennies (14-4, 5-1 MIAA) took care of Southwest Baptist in three sets, 25-7, 25-21, 25-7, for their second straight win.
How It Happened
• Central Missouri held the Bearcats to a -.051 attack percentage on the night while hitting .344 themselves. The Jennies committed just 13 errors on 90 attempts.
• The Bearcats landed only 15 kills in the three sets compared to19 attack errors. Their offense scored just 23 points on the Jennies.
• 14 different Jennies saw playing time and 10 scored at least one point.
• With the score tied at two in the opening set, UCM took over. They went on a 13-1 run to open up a 15-3 lead and never looked back for a 25-7 win. SBU landed just two kills and hit -.095 for the set while the Jens could not miss, connecting on 16 kills with one error for a .625 attack percent.
Audrey Fisher picked up five kills herself.
• The second set was the tightest of the bunch. While the Jennies never trailed again after taking a 2-1 lead, there were eight more ties as the Bearcats hung in tight. The Jennies were finally able to separate a bit, taking an 18-14 lead after a service ace from Fisher. After that, they maintained at least a two-point edge the rest of the way in their 25-21 win.
• UCM never trailed in the third set. They jumped out to a 9-3 lead and were able to cruise to a 25-15 win.Â
Jennies Stat Leaders
• Only two landed double-digit kills. Fisher led the game with 12 and
Kasey Hohlen had 11.
Hannah VanBuskirk added eight.
• Fisher also led the team with two service aces and three blocks.

Ally Offerdahl dished out 29 assists.
Tyler Downs saw some action at setter and had five assists.

Kylie Hohlen had a game-high 16 digs. She also had four assists and a service ace.
•
Katie Carlson knocked in a couple of aces and also had seven digs on defense.
For the Bearcats
• Sam Ibarra and Delanie Tipton each had a team-best four kills. Ibarra also had two blocks, including one solo.
• Brea Freeman led the team with 12 assists and had a service ace.
• Bailey Baumann had 11 digs and Whitney Johnson added 10.
• Rachel Pfeifer had two of the Bearcats five service aces.Â
News and Notes
• This was the first time in almost a year the Jennies held an opponent to a negative hitting percentage, last doing so in November of 2016 against William Jewell.
• The last time an opponent scored fewer than 10 points in a set was Arkansas Tech back in September of 2016.

Kasey Hohlen has reached 200 kills for the season with her 12 today.
• The Jennies are now 64-1 all-time against the Bearcats with 64 straight wins.

• The Jennies are back home tomorrow afternoon for a 4 pm match against Missouri Southern.
