2017 • Sophomore: Appeared in six matches and seven sets as a setter … Totaled 18 assists and also had three digs and one kill … Had five assists in two sets played at Southwest Baptist (Oct. 6) … Earned the MIAA Academic Excellence Award and was named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

2016 • Redshirt-Freshman: Played in 30 sets across 13 matches … Made six starts for the Jennies, filling in for an injured Kourtney Thompson … During her time as a starter, downs dished out 213 assists and had an average of 10.14 assists per set while the Jennies went 3-3 … Recorded her first career double-double with 42 assists and 12 digs against Missouri Western (Oct. 7), both career highs … Finished seven matches with at least 20 assists and five with at least 30 … Averaged 8.07 assists per set for the season with 44 digs, 10 service aces, nine kills and six blocks … Named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll and earned the MIAA Academic Excellence Award. 

2015 • Freshman: Redshirt during the 2015 season, did not compete ... Named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll and earned the MIAA Academic Excellence Award.

In High School: Played volleyball junior and senior seasons at Maize High School for Coach Betsy Manning … Helped the Eagles to back-to-back league and regional championships and state tournament qualifiers … Named league MVP as a senior as well as All-Metro and Second Team All-State … As a junior was named All-League Second Team and KVA All-Academic … Also played softball for three seasons at Maize … Was a part of three league and regional championship teams and made three state tournaments … Was named to the softball All-League First Team as a junior and All-League Second Team as a sophomore … Won an academic letter three times and was named a Kansas Honors Scholar.
 
Personal: Majoring in Dietetics … Daughter of Scott and Monica Downs … Mother played volleyball at Kansas University.
