ST. LOUIS, Mo. - Senior distance runner
Dalton Moberly picked up a provisional mark in his first meet of the season, leading the Mules at the Washington University Invitational in St. Louis on Friday night. Moberly posted a time of 14:26.68 in the 5,000 meter run, good for the fifth-fastest time in Division II to this point in the season.
Junior
Tyler Stuber placed 13th in the 5,000 meters, recording a time of 14:55.42.
Ben Barrows placed 30th in the race, with a time of 15:27.38. Sophomores
Trey Turner (56th) and
Sam Lutz (79th) also competed in the 5,000 meters.
Four Jennies also competed in the women's 5,000 meters, led by sophomore
Megan Glamann, who is coming off her All-MIAA performance at the MIAA Indoor Championships in the same event. Glamann finished fifth in the event, with a time of 17:55.98. Senior
Kacy Hession finished the race in 20th, with a time of 18:41.07, followed closely behind by sophomore
Courtney Klaty, who placed 29th. Mel Wilson finished in 40th, with a time of 19:30.96.
The rest of the Mules and Jennies are competing on Saturday, at the Wendy's Pittsburg State Open, beginning at 1 p.m.
