Opponent Preview
The Bronchos average 12.8 kills per set, 12.0 assists per set, and 17.4 digs per set. They also average 2.1 blocks per set, and 1.3 serving aces per set. The Bronchos have the fourth highest hitting percentage in the MIAA, and are fourth in the conference in blocks. The team is also eighth in assists and kills in the MIAA. 
 
 
Quarterfinals
Tuesday the Jennies took on Pittsburg State in the quarterfinals of the MIAA Tournament in Warrensburg, Mo. The Jennies beat the Gorillas in straight sets, 25-17, 28-26, 25-10, and held Pittsburg State to a .083 hitting percentage with only 24 kills in the match. The Jennies had 55 kills, six blocks and three serving aces in three sets. Taylor Goodness led the Jennies in kills, with 17 total. Julia Bates had a career high 10 kills, and 36 assists, and was two digs short of a triple-double. Haley Thompson, Maddie Jones, and Becca Blaise all had three blocks in the match. Annie Reilly had 25 digs and a serving ace.

Jennies in the Polls
The Central Missouri Jennies volleyball team was ranked No. 5 for the fourth week in a row in the American Volleyball Coaches Association poll. The Jennies received 1001 points in the poll after sweeping Nebraska-Kearney and Fort Hays State last week. 
 
Nebraska-Kearney drops to No. 11, and had 735 points. The Lopers also lost their match to Washburn last week. Washburn is up three spots  to No. 8 with 802 points. Concordia-St. Paul fell to No. 3, Tampa took the top spot with 1179 points. The next AVCA poll will be final poll of the season, and will be released Dec. 16. 
 
 
Player of the Year & All-MIAA Teams
The Central Missouri Jennies volleyball team was awarded with seven All-MIAA honors, including senior setter Julia Bates earning MIAA Player of the Year honors and head coach Flip Piontek earning MIAA Coach of the Year honors.
 
 
Bates was a first team all-conference honoree as well after racking up 1,185 assists, 146 kills and 49 aces this season. She was named MIAA Player of the Week three times this season. This is the fourth All-MIAA award of her career and the second first team honor. She becomes the 15th Jennies volleyball player to earn MIAA Player of the Year honors.
 
 
 
  The Jennies other senior, Taylor Goodness, was a unanimous All-MIAA First Team selection. She was one of only two unanimous selections to the all-conference team. This is the fourth all-conference honor of her career and the first selection to the first team. Goodness leads the MIAA in kills, and averages 4.04 kills per set, and reached double digit kills in 25 matches this season. She was named the MIAA Hitter of the Week once this season.
 
  The third first team selection for UCM was sophomore libero Annie Reilly. She was a two-time MIAA Player of the Week honoree this season. She leads the MIAA in serving aces, with 65 and leads in the team in digs, averaging 5.41 digs per set.
 
 
  Sophomore Carly Sojka and redshirt freshman Haley Thompson were both named to the All-MIAA Second Team. Sojka is 10th in the MIAA in kills, with 2.86 kills per set and has had five double-doubles this season. Sojka was an All-MIAA Third Team selection as a freshman. She earned one MIAA Player of the Week award this season.
 
 
  Thompson has played in every set for the Jennies this season, averaging 2.50 kills per set. She has the third highest hitting percentage in the MIAA at .331, and leads the Jennies in blocks with 90.
 
 
  True Freshmen Becca Blaise and Maddie Jones both earned honorable mention honors. Blaise is third on team in digs and assists, and fourth in kills. She averages 2.14 kills per set and 2.46 digs per set.
 
 
  Jones is second on the Jennies team in blocks, with 84 and averages 1.94 kills per set, while hitting .291.
 
 
  Piontek earns his third MIAA Coach of the Year award after leading the Jennies to their fourth MIAA title in the last five years.
 
 
Central Missouri Jennies
The Jennies average 15.0 kills per set, 13.4 assists per set, and 16.1 assists per set. They also average 2.0 blocks per set, and 1.8 serving aces per set, and have a .280 hitting percentage as a team. The Jennies have the highest hitting percentage in the MIAA, along with the highest kills per set average and the most total serving aces in the MIAA. In the NCAA, the Jennies are 29th in aces, and fifth in kills and hitting percentage. The Jens are also second in the MIAA in assists, and 11th in the NCAA. 



Opponent Preview
The Jennies were able to hold Central Oklahoma to under 20 points in each set of their last match. The Jennies swept the Bronchos, 25-14, 25-12, 25-18. The Bronchos had only 24 kills, with a serving aces and three blocks, and hit .094 in the match. The Jennies had 49 kills, and hit .330 in the match. They also had three aces and five blocks in the match. Taylor Goodness and Maddie Jones both had 12 kills in the match. 
 
 
Barbara Jackson leads the Bronchos in kills, with 3.66 per set on average, and also in serving aces, with 30 total this season. She is fifth in the MIAA in kills. Taylyn Schwartz averages 8.60 assists per set, and 1.83 digs per set. Tate Hardaker leads the MIAA in digs, averaging 5.84 digs per set. She is also second on the team in serving aces, with 27 total this season.  Juliette Smith has 135 blocks this season, ranking her fourth in the MIAA. Smith and Allison Barr both have a .326 hitting percentage, ranking them fourth and fifth in the MIAA respectively.
 
 
The Jennies played Nebraska-Kearney last week, and beat the Lopers in straight sets, 25-21, 25-21, 25-18. The Jennies hit .214 as a team, with 44 kills, six aces, and eight blocks in the match. Carly Sojka had 14 kills in three sets, and Taylor Goodness had 10 kills with a block. Haley Thompson had five blocks with six kills. Annie Reilly had three serving aces and 14 digs. Becca Blaise had four blocks and six kills. Maddie Jones had four kills, and three blocks. Julia Bates had 34 assists, three kills, and two blocks.
 
 
Nebraska-Kearney is currently third in the MIAA, and 11th in the AVCA poll. The Lopers average 14.3 kills per set, 13.5 assists per set, and 18.3 digs per set, with a .262 hitting percentage. They also average 1.5 aces per set, and 1.8 blocks per set. As a team, the Lopers are in the top five in five of the six MIAA statistical categories. The Lopers have the second highest hitting percentage in the MIAA, and are second in MIAA in kills, digs, and serving aces. Kearney leads the MIAA in assists.
 
 
Ellie Pesavento has the highest hitting percentage in the MIAA, at .352. Pesavento averages 1.89 kills per set, and is second on the team in blocks with 54 total this season. Ashley Leitner is fourth in the MIAA in kills, averaging 3.61 kills per set. She has a .243 hitting percentage, and is third on the team in serving aces, with 26 total this season. Erin Seele is first in the MIAA in assists, averaging 11.28 per set. She is also second on the team in serving aces, with 30 total this season, and third in digs, with 2.49 digs per set. Molly O'Brien has 32 serving aces, the highest total on the team, and has played in every set for the Lopers this season. Liz McGowan leads the Lopers in digs averaging 3.92 per set, and has played in 91 sets for the Lopers this season.  
 
 
It has been over a month since the Jennies last played Washburn. Central Missouri won the match in three sets, 25-20, 25-21, 25-16, and hit .345 in the match. The Jens had 52 kills, seven blocks, and two serving aces. Goodness had 15 kills, and Sojka had 12 kills and two blocks.
 
 
Washburn is currently second in the MIAA, and eighth in the latest AVCA poll. Washburn averages 14.0 kills per set, 13.0 assists per set, and 18.9 digs per set, with a .232 hitting percentage. They also average 1.3 aces per set, and 2.2 blocks per set. As a team, Washburn ranks in the top five of five MIAA statistical categories. The Ichabods have the third highest hitting percentage in the MIAA, and are also third in kills, blocks, and assists. Washburn leads the MIAA in digs. 
 
 
Marissa Cox is second in the MIAA in kills, averaging 3.73 kills per set, and has the second highest hitting percentage in the MIAA, at .346. Cox has won MIAA Hitter of the Week five times this season. Abby Wittman is second in the MIAA in assists, averaging 11.16 assists per set, and fifth in serving aces, with 42 total this season. Kelsey Lewis is fifth in the MIAA in digs, averaging 4.50 digs per set, and has the highest ace per set average on the team at 0.36. Lewis has played in every set for the Ichabods this season. Sarah Victory has the seventh highest hitting percentage in the MIAA, at .309, and is third on the team in kills, with 2.64 kills per set on average. Victory also has 108 blocks this season, the highest total on the team. Leanna Willer is second on the team, and seventh in the MIAA in kills, averaging 3.55 kills per set. Hannah Frierdich averages 1.02 blocks per set, the highest average on the team, and is ranked seventh in the MIAA.
