WARRENSBURG, Mo-- 
The Central Missouri Jennies swept Central Oklahoma, 25-14, 25-23, 25-20, in the semifinals of the MIAA Tournament in Warrensburg, Mo. on Friday evening. The Jens had 51 kills, and hit .342, with 10 serving aces in the match. The Jennies will face Nebraska-Kearney Saturday in the MIAA Tournament Championship.

The Jennies (31-1) had lead for the entire first set. The Jennies took a 5-1 lead to start the set, with a kill from Carly Sojka and Julia Batesand two from Haley Thompson. The Jennies lead the Bronchos (24-10) by at least four points for the rest of the set. Annie Reilly had two service aces in a row and a kill in the set. Sojka had five kills, and Thompson had four kills in the set. 

The Jennies again held the lead for a majority of the second set, but the Bronchos were able to catch them and even take the lead a few times. There were 12 tie scores and four lead changes in the second set. The Bronchos caught the Jennies for the ninth time in the set at 20-20. The teams took turns scoring for the following six points. The Jennies were able to string together two points after 23-23 to win the set, Taylor Goodness with a kill, and Julia Bates and Maddie Jones with a block assists. Goodness had seven kills in the set, and hit .438. Bats had 13 assists, and three serving aces. 

The Bronchos were able to tie the Jennies at 4-4 in the third match, and take the lead. The Jennies didn't catch up until 13-13, but the held the lead for a remainder of the match. Becca Blaise finished the match with a kill. 

Goodness led the Jennies with 14 kills, and hit .367, with a block solo on the night. Sojka had a .375 hitting percentage, with 11 kills. Bates had 32 assists, five aces, and five kills. Reilly had 14 digs, three kills, and three serving aces. Thompson had seven kills, and hit .357 in the match. Blaise had nine kills, and eight digs in the match. Jones had two kills and a block. 

The Jennies will take on No. 11 Nebraska-Kearney Saturday at 7:00 p.m. in the UCM Multipurpose Building.
