Box Score (ARKADELPHIA, Ark.) – The third-ranked Central Missouri Mules baseball team improved to 2-0 on the season with a 4-1 win over Henderson State in the first game of a three-game series at Clyde Berry Field on Friday afternoon. A three-run second inning proved to be the difference.

Gabe Thibodeau roped a bases-loaded double to left field plating all three base runners.
Central Missouri added another run in the sixth when
Chase Graskewicz singled home
Jordan Coons to make it 4-0 and that proved to be more than enough for the Mules.
Henderson State (6-2) tallied their only run of the day in the eighth inning on an RBI groundout from Michael Corso.
UCM starter
Chris Fitzpatrick (1-0) earned the win scattering seven hits over five plus innings, while striking out six and walking one.
