In 2018: Went into the season as an All-American candidate, but got injured in the second half of the season opener at Fort Hays State (Aug. 30) and missed the rest of the season ... Was granted a medical redshirt to return in 2019.

In 2017: Earned the starting quarterback job before the start of the year … Led the country in total offense averaging 360.2 yards per game and his 4,322 for the season are second most in UCM history … Finished the year with 3,766 passing yards, third most in a single-season in Mules history and second most in the country … Set a new Mules record for rushing yards by a quarterback with 556 yards … Threw for 23 touchdown passes and scored nine more times on the ground for 32 total touchdowns responsible for … Completed 242 passes, the fifth most in UCM history on 430 attempts … Set Mules records with eight straight games of 300 or more yards of total offense and seven straight games with 300 or more passing yards … Threw for a career-high 380 yards and rushed for 100 more in the Mules win against Northeastern State (Nov. 4) … Totaled six touchdowns, four passing and two rushing against Washburn (Oct. 21) … Was a Harlon Hill Trophy finalist as the top-player in Division II … Selected as a D2Football.com and Don Hansen All-American Honorable Mention and was First Team All-MIAA.

In 2016: Appeared in all 12 games last season ... was 3-for-9 passing for 43 yards and a touchdown ... rushed 11 times for 67 yards ... had six carries for 62 yards, including a career-long run of 60 yards in the win at Missouri Southern ... was also 2-for-5 for 35 yards and a touchdown in that same game.

In 2015: Appeared in five games during the season in a backup role and also on special teams ... completed 7-of-9 passes for 68 yards and a touchdown, while rushing 12 times for 80 yards ... was 4-for-5 passing for 46 yards at Nebraska-Kearney ... had four carries for 73 yards in the win over Northeastern State.

In 2014: Redshirted and did not appear in any games.

In high school: A two-time Honorable Mention All-State honoree ... he was a three-time First Team All-Conference selection and a two-year captain ... also earned multiple letters in baseball and basketball ... a three-time All-Conference baseball selection and a Second Team Super All-State pick ... was an Academic All-Conference honoree three straight years in both baseball and football.
