Cross Country: One of four Jennies to compete in all six meets... Ran a personal-best 5k time of 19:51.5 at the Missouri Southern Stampede (Sept. 17)... Finished 15th at the Broder War XC Championships (Oct. 7) 5k in 20:56.8... Placed 76th at the MIAA Cross Country Championships (Nov. 5) with a personal-best 6k time of 24:00.5.
Indoor Track: Competed in four meets for the Jennies... Had a pair of top-10 finishes at the UCM Invite (Jan. 20) including a mile time of 5:29.23 taking second place and contributing to a seventh place finish in the 4x400m relay in 4:32.19... Ran a personal-best 800m run in 2:24.74 at the Bearcat Invite (Feb. 2) taking 17th place... Placed 20th at the MIAA Championships in the mile with a personal-best time of 5:22.25.
Outdoor Track: Competed in five meets for the Jennies... Ran a personal-best 1500m at the Pittsburg State Tune-Up (April 22) finishing in seventh place with a time of 4:57.83... Placed 14th in the 800m run at the David Suenram Gorilla Classic (April 8) with a time of 2:26.17.
2021-22
Cross Country: Ran in four meets for the Jennies as a freshman... Ran a personal-best 5K time of 19:56.4 at the Fort Hays State Tiger Open (Oct. 9)...
Inside Track: Competed in five meets for the Jennies... Had a pair of top five finishes at the UCM Invite including first place in the DMR with a time of 14:04.89 and finishing fourth in the mile at 5:39.16... Helped the DMR at the MIAA Indoor Track & Field Championships to an eighth place finish with a time of 12:39.52.
Outdoor Track: Ran in four meets for the Jennies... Had a pair of top ten finishes at the Pittsburg State University Tune Up running the 1500m in 5:11.68 finishing eighth and helping the 4x400m relay to a fifth place finish with a time of 4:19.74... Ran a personal-best 1500m in 4:59.32 finishing 21st at the UCM Mule Relays.
In High School: Was an All-State and three-time All-Conference selection in cross country for head coach Emily Burmeister... A four-time All-Academic performer for her work in the classroom.
Personal: Daughter of Joe and Susan Geelan... Majoring in Biology / Pre-Med.
