Indoor Track & Field: Competed in five meets for the Jennies... Had a fifth place finish in the weight throw with a mark of 13.85m (45' 5.25") at Friday Night Lights (Feb. 17)... Finished in fifth place in the shot put at the UCM Invite (Jan. 20) with a throw of 11.73m (38' 6"). 

Outdoor Track & Field: Competed in six meets for the Jennies... Posted a personal-best mark of 43.78m (143-8) in the hammer throw at the CMU Invite (March 31-April 1)...Compiled a personal-best throw of 39.69m (130-2) in the discus at the Pittsburg State Tune Up (Apr. 22)...Named to the MIAA Newcomer Academic Honor Roll. 

In High School: Was an All-State selection in the discus in her senior year for the Tigers... Was a multiple time All-Conference and All-District selection in track & field... Was an Academic All-State selection for her efforts in the classroom... Madison was also a member of the volleyball team at Lee's Summitt HS. 

Personal: Daughter of Brad and Kerri Mears... Majoring in Biology.
