As a Junior: Started in five of his six appearances throwing 26 innings with a 2.77 ERA ... Compiled a 3-0 record and for the second straight season, UCM was 5-0 in games started by Jones ... Struck out 28 batters and 9.69 batters per nine innings ... Set a new career-best with 11 strikeouts in a 5.1 inning win against the University of Mary (Feb. 16) ... Tossed 6.1 innings allowing just one run on three hits against Arkansas Tech (Feb. 8) ... Opposing hitters hit just .207 for the season and lefties were just 3-20 (.150) ... Had one of the best strikeout to walk ratios (5.6:1) of any pitcher on the team ... Limited damage allowing just four extra-base hits all season, fewest of any Mules pitcher with at least 10 innings pitched. 

As a Sophomore: Saw action in 13 games while making five starts ... The Mules went 5-0 in games started by Jones ... Pitched to a 2.92 ERA in 37 innings with 33 strikeouts ... Allowed one earned run or fewer in four of his five starts ... Twice pitched five innings to earn a win ... Struck out a career-high eight in a five-inning win against Truman State (Feb. 26) ... Threw four shutout innings in relief in the MIAA Championship game to earn the save against Central Oklahoma (May 12). 

As a Freshman: Pitched in 16 games making 12 starts on the mound, second-most on the team … Threw 62 innings with a 5-3 record and 5.08 ERA … Struck out 46 batters, averaging 6.68 strikeouts/nine innings … Fared well against left-handed hitters, holding them to a .172 average in 58 at bats … Pitched a season-high seven innings in a win at Washburn with seven strikeouts and one earned run (March 3) … Started the Mules MIAA Tournament Championship game giving UCM 5.1 innings allowing just one unearned run with two strikeouts.

In High School: Played at Leavenworth High School for Coach Joe Allison where he was a First Team All-State Utility players.
