In 2018: Played in all 11 games both at wide receiver and on special teams ... Caught 13 passes for 173 yards and two touchdowns ... Scored both touchdowns against Emporia State (Oct. 13) totaling 45 yards on a season-best three catches ... Picked up a season-best 49 yards receiving against Missouri Southern (Sept. 29) ... Named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll for his work in the classroom.

Before UCM: Played at Austin Peay in Clarkesville, Tenn. ... As a sophomore, caught two passes for 18 yards and had three carries for 17 yards ... Also played a role on special teams making four tackles and punting five times, landing two inside the 20-yard line. 

In High School: Graduated in 2015 from Brentwood High School in Brentwood, Tenn. after playing for coach Mike Woodward ... Named All-District in 2014 and caught 60 passes for 803 yards and six touchdowns as a senior ... Played in the Blue-Grey All-Star game in Tampa Bay, Fla.

Personal: Son of Romannie and Simone Marsalis ... Grandfather, Jim Marsalis, played nine years for the Kansas City Chiefs and was a part of the Super Bowl 4 Championship Team and was the AFL's Defensive Rookie of the Year in 1969.
