ST. PAUL, Minn. -- University of Central Missouri Mules Baseball senior left-handed starting pitcher
Sawyer Allen was named to the 2026 Division II Conference Commissioner's Association (D2CCA) All-Central Region First Team, the organization announced on Monday, May 18.
A native of Plate City, Mo., Allen is 7-1 on the mound with a 2.21 ERA in 14 appearances this season. The left-hander has allowed just 18 earned runs on 51 hits with 73 strikeouts and only 19 walks in 73 1/3 innings pitched.
He ranks second in the MIAA in ERA and opposing batting average (.192), third in strikeouts, and sixth in innings pitched.
In the most recent NCAA Division II National Statistics, Allen is third in WHIP (0.95) and 10th in ERA.
Allen was also named to the All-MIAA First Team and the NCBWA All-Central Region First Team earlier this season.
Each of the 16 D2CCA All-Central Region First Team selections will now be listed on the D2CCA Baseball All-America ballot, which will be voted on by the CSC Division II membership with the announcement of those All-American teams expected on Wednesday, May 27.
Third-seeded Mules Baseball is scheduled to take on fifth-seeded Augustana (S.D.) in a best-of-three NCAA Division II Super Regional May 21-23 at Crane Stadium/Tompkins Field in Warrensburg, Mo.
