UCM Track & Field Excels on Final Day of Kip and Kirk Outdoor Mule Relays

WARRENSBURG, Mo. – University of Central Missouri Track & Field concluded the first-ever Kip and Kirk Outdoor Mule Relays on Friday, April 10, on the University of Central Missouri campus.

Sprints/Hurdles
  • Nolan Vancauwemberghe finished first in the men's 110m hurdles finale with a provisional time of 13.86. Jentry Acklin was third with a time of 14.88.
  • Chika Bekwunye and Pau Martinez both finished in the top three of the women's 100m hurdles final. Bekwunye won the event with a provisional and personal best time of 13.81, while Martinez was third with a personal best time of 14.44. Bekwunye's time ranks second-fastest in school history.
  • Ariel Kerr placed third in the men's 100m dash final with a time of 10.47.
  • Dayton Richardson posted a top 10 finish in the men's 400m dash, placing sixth with a time of 49.53.
Jumps
  • Zachary Proctor won the men's high jump, clearing a provisional and outdoor personal best mark of 2.09m (6-10.25). Braiden Ferrel also had a top-five performance, placing fourth with a personal best mark of 1.94m (6-04.25).
  • Therese Reindl finished third in the women's high jump, clearing a height of 1.60m (5-03.00).
  • Myah Morris posted a top 10 showing in the women's triple jump, finishing sixth with a mark of 10.97m (36-0.00).
Throws
  • The Jennies had three top 10 performances in the women's discus. Marley Sands placed third with a provisional and personal best mark of 46.39m (152-3), Stevie Samuels was seventh with a personal best mark of 42.50m (139-5), and Madison Mears was ninth with a mark of 41.85m (137-4). Sands' mark ranks ninth-best in school history.
  • The Jennies went 4-5 in the women's shot put. Madison Mears placed fourth with a mark of 14.27m (46-10.00) while Briley Wishard was fifth with a personal best mark of 14.02m (46-0.00).
