FIRST PITCH 
  • Central Missouri Jennies softball continues the 2026 season with a pair of games on Tuesday, March 24, against the Quincy Hawks, during Meet the Jennies Day, with game one's first pitch slated for 2:00 p.m. from Jennies Field at the South Recreation Complex in Warrensburg.  
  • After the conclusion of the doubleheader against the Hawks, the Jennies will be available for a post-game autograph session where fans will receive a complimentary schedule poster.
  • Central Missouri went 3-1 this past week on the road, sweeping the Newman Jets on Friday afternoon by scores of 9-0 (5 inn.) and 8-5, before splitting a doubleheader with No. 17 Central Oklahoma on Saturday, taking game one 6-5.

  • Both games will be available on a pay-per-view basis through the MIAA Network, with coverage beginning at 2:00 p.m. from Jennies Field at the South Recreation Complex in Warrensburg.

 MEET THE JENS  
 
 JENS AROUND THE DIAMOND
  • Central Missouri returns seven position starters and three pitchers from a season ago as the Jens went 30-19 overall, and 14-10 in MIAA play.
  • Through 26 games, Central Missouri has a .301 team batting average, scoring 5.8 runs per game, stealing 57 bases on 65 total attempts, and sporting a .971 fielding percentage.
  • The Jens are outscoring their opponents in the sixth and seventh innings by a margin of 46-22 on the year, while being 1-0 in extra-inning games in 2026.
  • Five Central Missouri batters are hitting above .300 on the year including Lexi Blackmon (.386), Kyrsten Moran (.363), Bailey Brumley (.348), Aly Hageman (.323), and Jadyn Sheffield (.308).  
  • The Jens have a team ERA of 3.32 through 26 games this season, while Andi Siebeneck paces the staff with a 7-3 record. Riley Bebb leads the team with 28 strikeouts in 48 1/3 innings pitched, while Madelyn Ducheneaux has a .203 batting average against for good measure.  
 
 
SERIES HISTORY
  • Quincy: Tuesday's doubleheader will be the 17th and 18th all-time meetings between the Hawks and Central Missouri, with the Jens holding an 10-6 advantage. Last season, UCM swept its meetings with a pair of victories by final scores of 7-1 and 16-2 (5 inn.), on Wednesday, April 16, from Mart Heinen Softball Complex in Quincy, Ill.
 
 
UCM DURING THE ANDERSON ERA
  • Susan Anderson is in her 20th season as head coach of the Jennies, where she is the second-winningest coach in program history with a record of 558-425 (.568). She became just the second coach in program history to eclipse 500 wins, doing so in game two of a double header against Fort Hays State (April 16, 2023) on Senior Day.
  • Since her return to Warrensburg in 2006, Anderson was the fastest coach to accomplish 100 wins, doing so in just three seasons while making 16 MIAA tournaments, five regional tournaments, and one Elite Eight appearance.
  • The 2015 Regional Coach of the Year has been named MIAA Coach of the Year three times in her career (twice named as head coach of the Jens) while coaching 20 first team All-MIAA selections, nine All-Region selections, two All-Americans, and one MIAA MVP.
