NEW ORLEANS, La. – Eight University of Central Missouri Track & Field student-athletes were named to the 2025-26 United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Central Region Team, it was announced Wednesday, March 11.
Jamoi Jackson (400m dash),
Landon Mason (weight throw),
Cooper Palmer (3,000m run, 5,000m run),
Zachary Proctor (high jump),
Gracious Ushie (60m dash), and
Nolan Vancauwemberghe (60m hurdles) earned All-Central Region honors for the Mules while
Michenainda Aritus (long jump) and
Grizell Scarlett (60m dash, 200m dash) garnered All-Central Region recognition for the Jennies.
In order to be named All-Central Region, individuals must finish in the top five in each event in the Central Region.
Scarlett ranks first in the Central Region in both the 60m dash and 200m dash, and is also tops in NCAA Division II in the 60m dash, while Vancauwemberghe is ranked number one in NCAA Division II and the region in the 60m hurdles.
Palmer is second in the 5,000m run and third in the 3,000m run in the region, and Aritus is fourth in the long jump. Mason is fourth in the weight throw, and Proctor, Ushie, and Jackson are all ranked fifth in the region in their respective events.
