INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The (Receiving Votes) Central Missouri Mules are ranked third out of 10 teams listed in the latest NCAA-II Men's Basketball Central Regional Rankings released on Wednesday, Feb. 25, by the NCAA.
The Mules are one of six MIAA men's basketball programs to be featured on the list alongside Washburn (No. 1), Arkansas-Fort Smith (No. 4), Missouri Western (No. 6), Fort Hays State (No. 8), and Rogers State (No. 9).
The Central Region comprises teams from the MIAA, the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC), and the Great American Conference (GAC), with the top eight teams advancing to the NCAA-II Central Regional after the completion of the conference tournaments.
The (Receiving Votes) Mules begin the final week of the regular season tonight, as they host the Missouri Southern Lions (16-10, 10-7 MIAA) for Military Appreciation Night, with tip-off slated for 7:30 p.m. inside the Jerry M. Hughes Athletics Center in Warrensburg.
