No. 25 Mules Basketball Debuts in First NCAA-II Central Regional Rankings

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The No. 25-ranked Central Missouri Mules are one of 10 teams listed in the first NCAA-II Men's Basketball Central Regional Rankings released on Wednesday, Feb. 18, by the NCAA. The first rankings are listed in alphabetical order.

The Mules are one of six MIAA men's basketball programs that appear in the first rankings. Arkansas-Fort Smith, Fort Hays State, Missouri Western State University, Rogers State, and Washburn are also listed in the inaugural rankings.

The Central Region comprises teams from the MIAA, the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC), and the Great American Conference (GAC).

Beginning Wednesday, Feb. 25, the NCAA will rank in order the top 10 teams in each region. Following the completion of conference postseason tournament play on Sunday, March 8, the top eight teams in the Central Region will earn a berth in the 64-team NCAA Division II National Tournament.
