MANHEIM, Pa. — The final regular-season coaches' rankings were released by the National Wrestling Coaches Association on Thursday, Feb. 19. The Mules moved up to No. 13 in the rankings and have four wrestlers listed as they head to the postseason.
At 133,
Drew Stanfield finally broke into the rankings at No. 14. The redshirt junior has a 14-5 record and has earned UCM 47 team points.
141-pounder
James Wright dropped one spot to 11th in the rankings. He has an 18-7 season record and is one win away from the 40th win of his career.
Gage Bernall is in the top 10 in the seventh spot. The Senior recently improved his record to 25-5 with his most recent win being a major decision at No. 2 Central Oklahoma.
Damon Ashworth still holds steady at No.1 for the 184 bracket. Ashworth went 21-1 this season and is one win away from his 70th career win milestone.
The Mules return to action on March 1st for the NCAA Regional Competition hosted by Central Oklahoma in Edmond, Okla.
