KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Defending NCAA-II National Runner-Up, NCAA-II Central Region Champion, and three-time MIAA Champion University of Central Missouri Jennies Golf was voted first and Mules Golf was tabbed second in the 2025-26 MIAA Men's and Women's Golf Preseason Coaches' Polls released Monday, Sept. 8, by the conference office.
The Jennies received 143 points and 11 first-place votes for the top spot in the women's poll, while the Mules compiled 90 points and two first-place votes for second place on the men's side. They finished nine points behind preseason favorite Central Oklahoma, which had 99 points and nine first-place votes.
Jennies Golf has already opened its 2025-26 season, winning the Central Region Fall Preview Sept. 2-3 in Blue Springs, Mo., at Adams Pointe Golf Club while Mules Golf begins its season Monday, Sept. 8, and Tuesday, Sept. 9, hosting The Mule at Mules National Golf Club in Warrensburg.
