WARRENSBURG, MO.- The University of Central Missouri men's Golf team sits second after Day one of the Northeastern State Men's Golf Classic on Sept. 15 at Page Belcher Golf Club in Tulsa. The Mules posted a team score of 553 (274, 276) for 15-under par. Central Oklahoma currently leads with 550 (274,276) for 18-under par.

CJ Phillips took the seventh spot, notably getting an eagle on the first hole in the first round. Phillips is in seventh place with 136 for 6-under par (68, 68). Southern Arkansas' Martin Hurtado is in first place with 132 (68-64).
Nick Fallin and
Kale Flinton are both tied for 16th with 139 (-3). Fallin went 3-under par (68) in the first round and made par (71) in the second round. Flinton posted a 67 during the first round and a 72 in the second for 3-under par.
Jack Hope, who is competing as an individual, is tied at 26th with 2-under par (69,72).
Followed by,
Brooks Baldwin is tied for 43rd with a score of 143 (73,70) for 1-over par. Sophomore
Archer Schnieders went 3-over at 145 (69,76) for a tie at 61st place.
The Mules will be back in action on Sept. 16 in Tulsa, Okla., for Day 2 of the NSU Classic.
