UCM Athletics has 147 Student-Athletes Earn D2 ADA Academic Achievement Honors

CLEVELAND, Ohio – University of Central Missouri Athletics had 147 student-athletes earn Division 2 Athletics Director Association (D2 ADA) Academic Achievement Awards for the 2024-25 academic year, the organization announced Thursday, August 14.

The Academic Achievement Award is a program that recognizes the academic accomplishments of student-athletes at the NCAA Division II level.

For the first time since inception, there were more than 20,000 student-athletes recognized (22,756) from a record 202 institutions for the 2024-25 Academic Achievement Awards. This year's totals are the highest in the program's history.

There were a total of 1,316 student-athletes honored in the MIAA, with UCM's 147 honorees ranking third-highest in the conference. 

To be eligible for the D2 ADA Academic Achievement Award, student-athletes must have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale, must have attended a minimum of two years (four semesters) of college-level work, and must have been a member of an intercollegiate team during his/her last academic year.
