Vance Tobol Voted College Sports Communicators Academic All-American®

AUSTIN, Texas – University of Central Missouri Mules Baseball's Vance Tobol was voted a 2025 College Sports Communicators First Team Academic All-American® for his performance in the classroom and on the baseball diamond during the 2025 season, it was announced Tuesday, July 1.

Tobol, a redshirt senior outfielder from Rogers, Ark., earned Academic All-American® accolades for the second consecutive season after posting a perfect 4.00 GPA while pursuing a master's degree in sport management. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in sport management and a 3.59 GPA in 2024.

On the field, Tobol was named a Second Team ABCA/Rawlings Division II and Honorable Mention NCBWA All-American this season. He posted a .365 batting average with 81 runs and 93 hits and led the team in doubles (19), homers (22), RBI (76), slugging percentage (.722), and stolen bases (28) in 61 games. Tobol added three triples, 32 walks, and a .447 on-base percentage.

The Division II Academic All-America® program is being financially supported by the NCAA Division II national governance structure to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2024-25 Division II Academic All-America® program.
