WARRENSBURG, Mo. – The University of Central Missouri Department of Intercollegiate Athletics hosted the inaugural Met Gallop presented by Northwestern Mutual Monday evening, April 28, inside the Jerry M. Hughes Athletics Center.

As part of the event, the annual winners of the Dr. Peggy Martin Senior Female Athlete and Vernon Kennedy Senior Male Athlete of the Year were honored.

The 2025 Dr. Peggy Martin Senior Female Athletes of the Year are Jennies soccer's Caroline Cole and Jennies track & field's Rachael Molloy while the 2025 Vernon Kennedy Senior Male Athletes of the Year are Mules wrestling's Jakason Burks and Mules football's Zach Zebrowski.

Earned her third-career First Team All-American honor in the weight throw after placing fourth with a personal-best throw of 19.65m (64-05.75) on her fifth attempt at the 2025 NCAA-II Indoor Track & Field Championships March 14…Her throw ranks second-best in indoor school history…Named USTFCCCA All-Central Region in the weight throw…10-time MIAA Academic Honor Roll honoree…Six-time MIAA Scholar-Athlete…Three-time USTFCCCA All-Academic selection…March 2025 First Central Bank UCM Student-Athlete of the Month.

Won the NCAA-II National Championship at 125 pounds in 2025…2025 NCAA-II Super Region IV Wrestler of the Year finalist and Super Region IV 125-Pound Champion…2025 MIAA Wrestler of the Week in week six…2024 Midwest Classic Champion and Most Outstanding Wrestler…Led UCM in national tournament points which helped the Mules post their first top 10 finish (seventh) in program history at the 2025 NCAA-II Wrestling Championships…Overall record of 31-4 with 143.5 team points, 10 tech falls and 73 takedowns.
