University of Central Missouri Jennies bowling is set to compete in the 2025 Intercollegiate Team Championships hosted by the United States Bowling Congress (USBC) April 17-19 at the South Point Bowling Plaza at the South Point Casino in Las Vegas, Nev.
First contested in 1975, the ITC brings together the top 16 women's teams in the country to compete for national titles.
For a school to participate in the ITC, it must compete in certified college tournaments and conferences throughout the season. By either winning a conference or being one of the top-ranked teams in the country, schools advance to postseason sectional qualifying events. The top four women's teams from each sectional tournament earn berths into the ITC.
The Jennies competed in the ITC Sectional March 8-9 in Fort Worth, Texas, and finished third with a combined record of 13-3 in Baker match play with an average of 187.39 to punch their ticket to the ITC National Tournament.
Entering the ITC, Central Missouri is paced by senior
Andrea Carolina Perez Perez and freshman
Haylee Bates. Perez Perez, who was a First Team All-GLVC selection, posted a 193.9 traditional average in 349 traditional frames and an 18.62 baker average in 499 baker frames during the 2024-25 regular season. Bates, an Honorable Mention All-GLVC honoree, compiled a 186.1 traditional average in 299 traditional frames and an 18.99 baker average in 465 baker frames during regular season competition.
