 FIRST PITCH 
  • Central Missouri Jennies softball continues the 2025 season with a pair of games in the Branson Battle Classic on Friday, Feb. 14, against the Maryville Saints at 12:30 p.m. followed by a matchup with the McKendree Bearcats at 2:30 p.m. from the Branson RecPlex in Branson, Mo.
  • The Jens went 2-2 this past weekend at the Alvy Early Memorial Classic in Bentonville, Ark. with victories over Illinois-Springfield (9-7) and William Jewell (9-3).
  • A season ago, the Jens finished with a 23-27 overall record as Hayden Serna was named to the All-MIAA Second Team (Designated Player) while Taylor Thompson received All-MIAA Honorable Mention (Second Base) accolades.

INDIVIDUAL MILESTONES
  • Andi Siebeneck hit her first career home run in the bottom of the second inning against Illinois-Springfield (Feb. 7) providing the first run of the year for the Jens.
  • Bailey Brumley plated her first RBI for Central Missouri with a single in the bottom of the fourth against Illinois-Springfield (Feb. 7) before recording her first multi-hit game with the Jens against William Jewell (Feb. 8) going 3-for-4 with a game-high five RBI for good measure.
  • Aly Hageman plated her first RBI for the Jens with a double in the bottom of the sixth inning against Illinois-Springfield (Feb. 7)
  • Marisa Johnson had her first collegiate hit with a single against Illinois-Springfield in the bottom of the fifth inning before plating her first collegiate RBI in the bottom of the sixth with a single. Johnson recorded her first multi-hit game against William Jewell (Feb. 8) going 3-for-4 with two RBI and two runs scored.    
 
SERIES HISTORY
  • Maryville: Entering play on Friday both teams are 6-6 all-time following the Saints sweep of a doubleheader last season in Warrensburg on Wednesday, April 17, from Jennies Field at the South Recreation Complex.   
  • McKendree: Friday afternoon's matchup will be the fifth meeting all-time between the Jens and McKendree dating back to the 1986 season with the most recent matchups coming in March of 2019 with both teams splitting a doubleheader in Lebanon, Ill.
    
UCM DURING the ANDERSON ERA
  • Susan Anderson enters her 19th season as head coach of the Jennies where she is the second winningest coach in program history with a record of 530-408 (.565) becoming just the second coach in program history to eclipse 500 wins doing so in game two of a double header against Fort Hays State (April 16, 2023) on Senior Day.
  • Since her return to Warrensburg in 2006, Anderson is the fastest coach to accomplish 100 wins doing so in just three seasons while making 14 MIAA tournament, five regional tournaments and one Elite Eight appearances.
  • The 2015 Regional Coach of the Year has been named MIAA Coach of the Year three times in her career (twice named as head coach of the Jens) while coaching 18 first team All-MIAA selections, nine All-Region selections, two All-Americans and one MIAA MVP.
