WARRENSBURG, Mo. – University of Central Missouri Mules Football fell to the No. 5-ranked Pittsburg State University Gorillas, 48-35, in its 2025 home finale on Saturday afternoon, Nov. 8, at Walton Stadium/Kennedy Field.
The Mules (4-6, 4-4 MIAA) will wrap up their 2025 season with a road game at Nebraska Kearney (6-4, 4-4 MIAA) Saturday, Nov. 15, at noon in Kearney, Neb.
Central Missouri and Pittsburg State were tied, 14-14, at halftime before the Gorillas outscored the Mules in the third quarter, 21-7, to gain a 35-21 advantage en route to their 48-35 victory.
UCM quarterback
Donovyn Omolo went 39-of-52 for 366 yards with three passing touchdowns and added 88 yards rushing on 18 carries with a 17-yard rushing touchdown, and wide receiver
Hogan Wasson tallied 153 receiving yards on 15 catches with a touchdown, pacing Central Missouri offensively in the game.

LaAngelo Bell, and wide receivers
Jake Weber, and
Aazeryan Voss each recorded a touchdown, as well.
Trey Patrick tallied eight tackles, forced two fumbles, and recovered a fumble, while
Drew Kaufman had eight tackles, and
Kendal Harmon had a fumble recovery, leading the UCM defense.
For the game, the Mules outgained the Gorillas, 529 yards to 501 yards, including a 378-296 advantage in passing yards. Central Missouri also bested Pittsburg State in first downs, 31-22, and time of possession, 35:19 to 24:41, but the Gorillas (8-2, 7-1 MIAA) won the ground game, out-rushing UCM, 205-151.
Quarterback Jackson Berry went 14-of-22 for 296 yards with two touchdowns, and Zahmari Palode-Gary had 140 rushing yards with two touchdowns on 18 carries, pacing the Gorillas.
