KANSAS CITY, Mo. – University of Central Missouri Mules golfer
CJ Phillips was voted the MIAA Men's Golfer of the Week for his performance on the golf course during the week of Oct. 22-28, the conference office announced Wednesday, Oct. 29.
Phillips, a junior from Edmond, Okla., finished second at The Tulsa Cup Oct. 27-28 at The Club at Indian Springs in Broken Arrow, Okla., firing a three-round score of 8-under par 208 (71-67-70). He tied Harding's Jose Arzu for the top score on the individual leaderboard before falling to Arzu in a playoff.
Through the fall 2025 season, Phillips has tallied three runner-up finishes and one tournament title, winning the MoWest Holiday Inn Express Classic Oct. 6-7 in St. Joseph, Mo.
The No. 14-ranked Mules wrapped up their fall 2025 season by winning The Tulsa Cup Oct. 27-28 in Broken Arrow, Okla.
