EMPORIA, Kan. – Parker Wormek finished second in the men's 110m hurdles and the Mules 4x100m relay of

Rawley Chard and
Antonio Lay placed second in the men's 4x100m relay, highlighting the final day of action for UCM track & field at the NCAA-II Outdoor Championships Saturday, May 25, at Francis G. Welch Stadium on the Emporia State University campus.
In the final team standings, the Mules placed 12th out of 60 teams with 20 points while the Jennies tied for 34th out of 60 teams with six points. Fellow MIAA team Pittsburg State won both the men's and women's NCAA-II Outdoor National Championships.
Wormek earned his first-career All-American honor in the men's 110m hurdles after running a school record time of 13.54 for second place. Wormek is just the third Mule to become an All-American in the event.
The Mules 4x100m relay picked up the fifth All-American performance in program history after placing second with a time of 39.43.
For the three-day meet, UCM finished with five total All-American accolades.
