SEWARD, Neb. – Brooklynn Holtman set a new school record in the 100m dash and
Antonio Lay won the men's 100m dash to highlight UCM track & field at the Concordia Twilight Meet Friday, May 10, in Seward, Neb.
Sprints/Hurdles
- Holtman posted a NCAA-II provisional and personal-best time of 11.58 to set a new UCM school record and win the women's 100m dash prelims. She ran 11.70 in the final to take first.
- Lay ran a provisional 10.36 to place first in the men's 100m dash prelims. Ariel Kerr was runner-up with a provisional time of 10.46. Lay won the final with an identical time of 10.36 while Kerr tied his personal-best and placed second at 10.45.
- Jentry Acklin ran a personal-best and provisional time of 14.44 to finish fourth in the men's 110m hurdles prelims. He moved up one place to third in the final, running 14.49.
Jumps
- The Mules went 2-3 in the men's pole vault. Pierson Carlisle finished second after clearing a provisional and personal-best mark of 5.00m (16-04.75) on his first attempt while Charlie Garino was third, also clearing a provisional and personal-best 5.00m (16-04.75), but on his second attempt. Â
Throws
- Madison Mears won the unseeded women's shot put with a provisional mark of 14.06m (46-01.50).
