DES MOINES, Iowa – The Mules 4x100m relay and Jennies 4x400m relay both qualified for finals, and
Antonio Lay secured a spot in the men's 100m dash final, highlighting UCM track & field action at the Drake Relays Friday, April 26, at Drake Stadium.
Relays
- The Mules 4x100m relay of Ariel Kerr, Brockton McLaughlin, Rawley Chard and Antonio Lay ran a provisional 40.49 to finish first in the men's 4x100m relay first round, qualifying them for the final on Saturday.
- The Jennies 4x400m relay of Anayla Waters, Kayla Goodwin, Lenetta Lee and Brooklynn Holtman finished eighth with a time of 3:49.43 to move on to the final Saturday. Â
- The Jennies 4x100m relay of Waters, Holtman, Kristen Jones and Lee ran a provisional time of 47.67 to finish ninth in the first round of the women's 4x100m relay.
- The Jennies Sprint Medley relay of Holtman, Jones, Goodwin and Katie Bean compiled a time of 4:01.25, finishing third.
- The Mules Sprint Medley relay of Trey Miller, McLaughlin, Michael James and Brian Mitei posted a time of 3:28.64, placing fourth.
Sprints/Hurdles
- Antonio Lay ran a provisional time of 10.47 to place ninth in the men's 100m dash first round to advance to the final on Saturday.
Throws
- Addison Snowball registered a provisional mark of 55.15m (180-11) in the men's discus to place sixth.
The Drake Relays wrap up Saturday, April 27, in Des Moines. Several Mules and Jennies will also be competing in the Baker Relays Saturday in Baldwin City, Kan.
