SMYRNA, Tenn. -- Central Missouri Jennies Bowling finished in 17th place at the VU Music City Classic Sunday, Mar. 17 at Vanderbilt University. The Jennies had a record of 2-1 in the championship bracket, going 9-4 overall for the event. 

Entering the championship bracket, the Jennies were the 18 seed and defeated No. 17-seeded Lincoln Memorial in the first round. They dropped to Lewis University in the second round, but ended with a victory over Lincoln Memorial again to finish in 17th place.

Andrea Perez led the Jennies with a 206.0 average, with Bree Heathscott 2nd for UCM with a 196.2 average. 

This event wrapped up the Jennies regular season play, as they are scheduled to host the GLVC Women's Conference Bowling Tournament March 22-24 at Alley Cats in Warrensburg, Mo.
