Mules baseball and Jennies softball have announced their promotional/theme night schedule for the 2024 season. Both teams will be hosting a variety of events at Crane Stadium/Tompkins Field (Mules baseball) and the South Recreation Complex (Jennies softball) for UCM fans to participate in. More information is available below.
Baseball
March 22 vs. Fort Hays State (Campus Cupboard Day): All fans will be able to receive free entry to the Mules Baseball game vs Fort Hays State if they donate either three (3) non-perishable or can good food items. All donations and proceeds will go towards the University Campus Cupboard. Campus Cupboard is a volunteer-based, 501(c)(3) charity dedicated to alleviation of hunger and financial burdens in the University of Central Missouri community.
March 26 vs. Missouri Western (Social Media Day): Mules Baseball will be hosting a special social media day using the hashtag #RollStable. Fans who attend the game can post on either Facebook, X, or Instagram with #RollStable. All posts will be eligible to win a $25 gift card from UCM Athletics participating sponsors, in addition to Mules Baseball swag! One winner will be chosen during the middle of the third, fifth and seventh innings.
April 5 vs. Pittsburg State (Military Appreciation Day): All active/retired military personal will be recognized as we show our immense appreciation to those who serve/served our country. UCM Athletics/baseball will be offering military hats to all active/retired military personnel who show a valid military ID at entry.
April 7 vs. Pittsburg State (Youth Day): All kids (6-17) who wear their youth team uniforms will receive free admission! All kids must be accompanied by a parent, who will receive 50% off admission to the game. A special appearance will be made by Mo the Mule and Central Missouri's live Mules.
April 23 vs. Drury ($1 Night at the Ballpark): Sodexo will be hosting a dollar night at the ballpark! Coupons will be handed out at the main gate while supplies last that fans can redeem at the concession stand for a dollar hot dog and drink! Thanks to Sodexo for sponsoring this event!
April 26 vs. Missouri Southern (Black Out Game): This game will be a black out with the Mules wearing black uniforms! All fans are encouraged to come to Crane Stadium/Tompkins Field decked out in all black to show their support for the Mules!
April 27 vs. Missouri Southern (UCM Faculty/Staff Appreciation Day):The Mules Baseball team will be recognizing a faculty/staff member at UCM as a token of their appreciation. The chosen staff member will be recognized on the field pregame with the opportunity to throw out the ceremonial first pitch.
April 28 vs. Missouri Southern (Senior Day): Mules Baseball will honor its seniors. Join us one final time at Crane Stadium/Tompkins Field in the regular season to support the seniors!
Softball
Jennies' softball will be starting off their promotions schedule by having a white out on March 15! White UCM Athletics t-shirts will be offered to the first 100 students, while white poms will be available to the public! Join the Jens at South Rec in all white as we kick off the promotional schedule!
March 19 vs. Lincoln (Social Media Night): Jennies softball will be hosting their own social media night! Fans who attend the game can post on either Facebook, X, or Instagram with #RollJens. All posts will be eligible to win a $25 gift card from UCM Athletics participating sponsors! Giveaways will be held during both games of the doubleheader in the third and fifth innings.
March 22 vs. Washburn (Cancer Awareness/Survivor Appreciation Game): Fans are encouraged to wear the color of the cause they are supporting, as the Jens will be doing the same. Four cancer survivors will be recognized at the game with an ceremonial first pitch.
March 23 vs. Emporia State (Jamin Landreth Memorial Game): March 23rd will be a very special day at the South Recreation Complex. This game will be recognized as the "Jamin Landreth Memorial Game." Jamin was a former Jennie pitcher who passed away due to complications during childbirth last year. Jamin's mother, father, husband, and former teammates will all be attendance to honor the former Jennie.

April 17 vs. Maryville: All Thrive Students are encouraged to attend the game as they will be recognized! The Jennies softball team has been heavily involved with the Thrive program and wants to show their appreciation!
