TOPEKA, Kan. – The University of Central Missouri track & field teams completed the final day of competition at the Washburn Open Saturday, Feb. 3, in Topeka with several standout performances.
Sprints/Hurdles
- Parker Wormek won the men's 60m hurdles, posting a personal-best and provisional time of 7.89. His time ranks second in UCM school history and is tied for fifth in NCAA-II this season.
- Brooklynn Holtman finished third in the women's 400m dash with a personal-best and provisional time of 55.73. Her time ranks fourth in indoor school history and is a meet record.
Pole Vault
- Reagan Ulrich and Pierson Carlisle went 2-3 in the men's pole vault. Ulrich finished as the runner-up, clearing a provisional and meet record height of 5.15m (16-10.75) while Carlisle was third with a provisional and personal-best mark of 4.80m (15-09.00).
The Mules and Jennies are scheduled to return to action Feb. 9-10 at the Pittsburg State Gorilla Classic in Pittsburg, Kan.
