HOUSTON, Texas -- No. 6-ranked Jennies Golf opens up their spring schedule at The Southern Invite, hosted by Central Oklahoma, Monday, Feb. 19 at Cypresswood Golf Club. The event is a two day 54-hole tournament hosting 15 teams and featuring 7 top 25-ranked teams including No. 3 Dallas Baptist University, No. 9 St. Mary's (TX), No. 11 West Texas A&M, No. 14 Henderson State, No. 18 Midwestern State, and No. 24 Southwest Oklahoma State. 

The Jennies had a record fall performance, winning four of five events. To open the fall, the Jennies finished third at the U Indy Invitational. From there, the Jennies won four events in a row to close out the semester. Their top performance was setting a new 18-hole team score program record of 281(-3) and a 36-hole team score record of 564 (-4) at the Grace Shin Invitational, winning the tournament by 29-strokes.
